Permanently endowed scholarships and awards have been made possible through the charitable support of alumni and friends of McGeorge School of Law to provide ongoing financial assistance to our students. Each year, a portion of the value of the fund is distributed to student scholarships. Any earnings in excess of this distribution build the fund’s market value. All McGeorge scholarships are jointly administered by the McGeorge Faculty Committee on Scholarships and the Financial Aid Office. All student awards are processed through the Financial Aid Office as they affect the need factors that must be considered for work-study and loan programs. Please contact the McGeorge Financial Aid Office for information on the available scholarships or with any questions on applying for the scholarships.
You may support an existing endowment or consider endowing and naming a scholarship with a minimum gift of $50,000, which can be paid over a five-year period. Please contact the McGeorge Advancement office with questions on creating a new endowed scholarship at 916.739.7300.
