Celebrating 15 Years of the Alex & Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House

Vereschagin Alumni House

The Alex & Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House has welcomed over 117,000 visitors and hosted more than 4,600 gatherings since opening its doors 15 years ago.

Fifteen years ago, a dedicated community of Pacific alumni and friends came together with a shared vision: to build a permanent, welcoming home for alumni at the University of the Pacific. As the Alex & Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, that vision continues to flourish as the heart of Pacific’s alumni community.

During the early discussions that brought the facility to life, Dianne Philibosian ’67 championed the idea that the building should be far more than an administrative space. Her vision was to establish a warm, comforting haven where generations of Tigers could return, reconnect with cherished memories and friends, and experience a lifelong sense of belonging.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of its founding donors, the Vereschagin Alumni House has transformed that aspiration into a vibrant campus landmark:

  • More than 4,600 alumni events and gatherings hosted

  • Over 117,000 visitors welcomed through its front doors

The foundation established 15 years ago continues to provide strength and connection for the entire alumni community. As University of the Pacific experiences remarkable momentum—marked by rising national rankings, the launch of a new School of Medicine, and the celebration of the university’s 175th anniversary—the Alumni House stands as an enduring symbol of Pacific pride.

To honor this milestone, Pacific will celebrate the legacy of its founders and community during Homecoming & Family Weekend 2026 (October 9–11) with a special Innovation Tour. Rooted at the Vereschagin Alumni House, the tour will highlight how the facility serves not only as a home for alumni traditions, but also as a launchpad for Pacific's bright future.

Pacific alumni, families, and friends are invited to return home to campus this October to explore the space, reunite with fellow Tigers, and celebrate 15 years of community, tradition and pride.
