The University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law’s Summer Bridge Academy is designed for entering first-year law students who want to bridge the academic skills gap between undergraduate studies and law school. It’s also ideal for those returning to school after a gap period or transitioning professional careers.

Topics covered will include:

  • An overview of the legal system from a law student perspective
  • Preparing for class
  • Reading and briefing cases
  • Expert learning for law students
  • Engaging in the classroom experience and note-taking
  • Enhancing your learning after class

The program consists of 6 virtual sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the weeks of July 15 - July 22, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Registration is $25.00 for incoming McGeorge School of Law students.
