The University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law’s Summer Bridge Academy is designed for entering first-year law students who want to bridge the academic skills gap between undergraduate studies and law school. It’s also ideal for those returning to school after a gap period or transitioning professional careers.
Topics covered will include:
- An overview of the legal system from a law student perspective
- Preparing for class
- Reading and briefing cases
- Expert learning for law students
- Engaging in the classroom experience and note-taking
- Enhancing your learning after class
The program consists of 6 virtual sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the weeks of July 15 - July 22, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Registration is $25.00 for incoming McGeorge School of Law students.
