The Printing Room

The Print Room is located on the Library’s 1st Floor across from the bathrooms.

  • 1 color photocopier/scanner/printer, 1 Lexis Nexis printer, and 1 KIC-Bookeye Book Scanning System
    • USB printing via printer
    • Copy via printer
    • Scan to PDF or email via printer
  • 4 stand-up computers for printing
  • Staplers, paper cutter, tape, hole punchers, and scratch paper 


Additional B&W Printing Locations:

  • Next to the Circulation Desk / Open ReserveBarbara Thomas Sitting Room (2nd floor)
  • Reference Area/Administration Alcove
    • Also equipped with Lexis Nexis printer and KIC – Bookeye Booking Scanning System
    • Public Access computer stations equipped with desktop scanner  


Online printing from laptops and desktop computers

Using Pacific Print requires PacificCard and/or PacificNet ID credentials.


Using a library-owned laptop or desktop computer:

  • Select File>Print
  • Scroll through list of printers available
    • Choose “PacificPrintB&W” to print black & white
    • Choose “PacificPrintColor” to print color
  • Locate the appropriate printer and swipe your Pacific ID Card to select and release print job 


Using your own laptop within the Library:

  • Log in to Pacific Print online
    • Choose “PacificPrintB&W” to print black & white
    • Choose “PacificPrintColor” to print color
  • Walk to the appropriate printer and swipe your Pacific ID Card to select and release print job

    • Visit the Circulation Desk, or Dan Breuer (Library Technology Specialist dbreuer@pacific.edu) in the Reference Area.
    • Please submit a ticket through the Pacific Technology Help Center if you have any additional questions related to the service.  


Printing costs:

  • Black & white: $0.06 per page
  • Color: $0.12 per page
  • Funds are taken from your PacificPrint account ONLY


Community Members Printing

Pre-loaded print cards are available to purchase for $5.  

Your username is guest-#####, where ##### represents the last five (5) of the nine (9) digits of the Pacific ID# printed on the card.

  • The password is just those same five (5) digits.
